NFPA stands for the National Fire Protection Association, they are the equivalent of the NEC National Electrical Code. The NFPA is responsible to administer certain rules, or codes, to minimize fire & explosion hazards regarding equipment in the workplace. Without these codes there would be a lot of unsafe equipment being operated, and many lives would be at risk!
There is a lot of equipment for sale out on the market that doesn't meet NFPA codes, which usually means it is less expensive and more readily available, but be careful of what you buy!
NFPA is there for a reason, and in most cases you cannot get past the inspection phase of new equipment unless it meets those requirements.
We can help you navigate the sea of equipment out there and get you on the right track to do what you need and have been helping companies for close to 30 years.
